SOMETIMES YOU’RE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN TIARA
This past week I have been lucky enough to receive some wonderful praise from friends and co-workers. In what is becoming a dreadfully long and chilly winter, I have been experiencing some seasonal blues, and it’s nice to have something happen that is not same-old, same-old.
Last week I hit an all-time low when I decided that I needed to wear my tiara all day long in order to boost morale around the office - home office, of one, that is.
While I must admit it did work a little, especially when a friend came over to borrow the car and entered my place with : “should I know something?”. At least I can still make myself laugh, which to be honest makes me feel pretty much like royalty.
Winter can be a bore and it certainly doesn’t do much for the complexion. It brings sniffles, sore throats, dry skin and hibernation bellies. And it’s an affliction that effects that masses, so your cheerful next door neighbour or cute patio boyfriend may not be around to make you feel better with something as simple as a smile.
So girls and boys - get out your tiaras, because this month you’re in charge of your own morale, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
